Ummah Chronicles presents
Rihla is a life RPG for Muslims. Pray on time, recite your adhkar, review your hifz, do your work, care for your family — and every completed deed carries a pixel traveler one step further along the 1325 road from Tangier to Mecca.
Free on your device, saves stay yours (manual backup built in). Optional paid account adds cloud backup & family sync.
Every profile starts with a simple robe. Keep your habits and your avatar's outfit upgrades at level 5 and again at level 10 — earned, never bought.
Twelve traveler bases — adults, elders, young travelers and children, in two skin tones. One family, one app — each person walks their own road.
Habits, dailies, and to-dos — worldly and religious side by side. Rihla rewards the day you actually live.
The five prayers as dailies, with sunnah acts you can toggle on. Check them off and your traveler moves.
The full texts from Hisn al-Muslim, in Arabic with translation — built in, cited, and always free.
Memorize Quran with spaced repetition. Rihla schedules each review right before you would forget.
Work, study, exercise, family time — your worldly duties earn XP and dinars alongside your worship.
Parents create a traveler card per child. Each save is fully separate — every person sees only their own journey.
Wayfarer, Scholar, Merchant, or Healer. Each Path unlocks skills you can cast when you need a push.
Turbans, robes, satchels, and staves — gear unlocks as you level, and every piece is bought with earned dinars.
Daily nudges for adhkar, reviews, and your own routines. Miss a day? Small setback, never shame.
Everything lives on your device. No account required, no tracking — export your save whenever you like.
Fresh on the souq shelves
Your character card is the heart of Rihla. Completed deeds fill your experience and top up barakah; missed dailies cost a little health — never more than a little. There is no death, no level loss, and rest days are forgiven.
Level up and your health refills, dinars drop in your pouch, and new titles, gear, and companions open up — a camel joins you at level 5.
Good deeds sometimes drop an egg. Hatch it, feed your pet three times, and it grows into a mount fit for the caravan.
Food drops from your deeds too — three good meals and a pet is ready to ride.
Take on a boss alone. Every task you complete strikes it — every daily you miss heals it. Your discipline is the weapon.
Rises when routines scatter. Steady, on-time dailies cut through the storm.
Feeds on "later". Each finished to-do chips a slab off its stone hide.
Burrows through idle evenings. Deep work and honest rest starve it out.
Fight it your way — four Paths, each with castable skills
The year Ibn Battuta set out, so does your traveler. Ten illustrated cities mark the road — every deed is three steps closer to the next gate.

Rihla follows the hijri calendar. Limited seasonal gear appears during the blessed seasons — then returns to the vault until next year.
Fasting dailies, night-prayer quests, and the fanous lantern.
Celebration cosmetics and gifts for every traveler card in the family.
Ten blessed days of extra deeds, with pilgrim gear for the road.
Rihla is a game about your day — it is not a measure of your deen. These rules are built in and will not change:
Yes. Everything religious — Quran, adhkar, the sunnah library — is free and will stay free. If we ever monetize, it will only touch the game layer, such as cosmetics, and there will never be loot boxes or pay-to-win.
On your device. Rihla is offline-first: no account is required, nothing is tracked, and you can export your save at any time and carry it with you.
That is exactly what the family profiles are for. You create a traveler card per child from the character-select screen; each card is a fully separate save, and no one's worship is ever shown to — or ranked against — anyone else's.
A small, capped health loss — never below 1 HP, never death, never a lost level. Travel days, sick days, and rest at the Inn are forgiven, and your streaks survive an honest rest. Rihla is built on mercy, not streak-shame.
The same game, fully offline, no account — your saves live on your device and you can back them up from inside the app. Version 0.6.1.
