Rihla on the desktop: a traveler card, five habit squares and the day's prayers

Your day, on the road. Every deed moves the traveler a little further.

🕌

The five, weighted

Prayers carry more than chores, so the spine of the day actually moves you.

🪥

Five habits, one tap

Miswak, salam, istighfar. A tap is one unit — the day pays once, never farmable.

📖

The whole library

Full Quran, Hisn al-Muslim’s 132 chapters, six hadith collections. Bundled, offline, cited.

🕸️

The ahadith graph

Every ayah and narration as a node. Tap Musa, watch the texts that name him arrive. See it

👨‍👩‍👧

One card per child

Every traveler’s journey is their own. No leaderboards, no comparing worship.

What is inside

Everything below ships in the app you can open right now — no account, no network, nothing locked.

Every ayah and every narration, on one graph

Twenty-four prophets, forty themes and 138 chapters sit on a canvas. Tap a subject twice and its ayat and narrations arrive as real nodes — so any of the 40,000 texts is reachable, summoned a region at a time.

A narration that names both Musa and Harun ties itself to both. Those shared threads are drawn bigger, and they settle between the subjects that hold them — the shape of the graph is the relationship.

Built by matching names in the translation and in the text of the narrations, chains of narration stripped first. An index of mentions, not a scholarly classification.

Physics, from scratch

It settles, then it stops

Springs along every link, repulsion between every pair, a collision pass so no two nodes overlap, and a temperature that cools until the view parks itself and stops burning battery.

Drag a node and the layout reheats around it. Pinch, pan, or let it frame itself.

The library

The whole mushaf, and reading it counts

The complete Quran with translation, juz and surah navigation, search, bookmarks and last-read resume — all bundled in the download.

Finish a page and mark it. One point per page, uncapped: read a hundred pages and you are paid for a hundred. Memorise any surah with spaced repetition, or set a khatmah plan over 30, 60 or 114 days.

Adhkar

Hisn al-Muslim, all 132 chapters

Morning and evening remembrances on the day, and behind them the full fortress — every chapter, 267 du‘a, Arabic with translation and transliteration, grouped into thirteen doors.

Tap to count. Your tasbih survives closing the app.

The road

Tangier to Mecca, one deed at a time

Ten cities along Ibn Battuta’s road. Every city you reach keeps its own stalls — gear, remedies, and rewards you write yourself and price in dinars you earned.

Your rewards are real-life treats. The game does not decide what is worth having.

The family

A card for each traveler

Character select is the front door. A parent makes a card per child, each with their own avatar, their own starting day and their own save. Nobody sees anybody else’s journey.

New travelers get three quiet questions and the road is theirs — or they can skip straight in.

The rules this is built on

Rihla is a game about your day, not a scorecard for your deen. These lines are not marketing — they are constraints the app is written against.

  • Points never claim to measure your worship.
  • Miss a day and you lose a little health, never a level. Gaps and rest are forgiven.
  • No leaderboards. No sibling-vs-sibling ibadah screens.
  • No loot boxes, no chance mechanics, no ads — ever.
  • The deen is never paywalled. Not one ayah.
  • Sources are cited; nothing is invented.

Rihla is in open alpha

It runs in the browser — nothing to install, and it updates the moment we ship a fix. Android and desktop builds come once the app has been through enough real days to deserve them.
